Mitsutaka Tsuryu is a Tokyo-based fine art and street photographer whose work explores the tension between presence and absence in urban spaces.
Through minimal compositions shaped by light, shadow, and architectural structure, he captures moments where human presence is suggested rather than directly shown, revealing the quiet psychological landscapes embedded in the city.
His work has received international recognition, including multiple Gold Awards at the European Photography Awards (EPA) and six Honorable Mentions at the Prix de la Photographie Paris (PX3). Additional recognitions include an Honorable Mention at the Budapest International Foto Awards (BIFA), Official Nominee at the 1839 Awards (Art of Storytelling), and selected for the Longlist at the BBA One Shot Award.
He is available for commissioned projects, exhibitions, and publications worldwide.
